Symbols Have Always Changed Us

Long before modern language, humans used symbols to tell stories, mark transitions, honor grief, call for protection, and make meaning from the unknown.

We still do.

A wedding ring.
A flag.
A cross.
A memorial tattoo.
A handwritten letter kept for decades.

Symbols carry emotional energy because humans give them emotional significance.

Sigils exist within that same ancient relationship between image, meaning, and intention.

When created with care, symbolism can become a mirror… reflecting back the parts of ourselves we are trying to remember, reclaim, release, or protect.

I do not believe symbols hold power separate from us.

I believe they help us reconnect with the power already living within us.
