The Weaver’s Alphabet
A language made of color, pattern, and symbols.
Sweeping gold curves weave through intricate bands of turquoise, blue, violet, and pink. An iris rests within a circular center, surrounded by stars, repeating shapes, and ornamental details.
I gifted this painting to my sister during a time I thought she needed a little extra magic. Its place in my work is inseparable from that act of love: something I made and could give when I couldn’t make everything right.
