Alice's Clock is a very personal piece for me, born from my lifelong love for the magic and whimsy of Alice in Wonderland. I created this 18"x30" water media painting as a playful meditation on time—a concept that feels both fluid and, at times, overwhelming.
The wonky grandmother clock and its wandering pendulum capture my fascination with the way time can bend and twist, much like the surreal moments in Wonderland. The fabric-like green patterns in the background remind me of the ever-changing rhythms of life, where each minute brings new wonder and unexpected pressure.
This work is my heartfelt invitation to embrace the enchanting, unpredictable dance of time—a reminder that even under life's pressures, there is beauty and magic to be found.
